The Amazing Tower

I was changing a lightbulb recently and I walked into the kitchen to ask Kat a question. As I was talking with her, Henry exclaimed with great happiness and surprise "Dada, I found an AMAZING TOWER!"

When I came to see what Henry had found, I watched him fearlessly begin climbing the amazing tower (ladder) that I was using to change the lightbulb. So much for being safe by using the ladder to change the light bulb....

...It is past Henry's bedtime and he is getting tired. Hunter is fast
asleep in the Chariot.

Henry's Big Race Day

Finally, after weekends and weekends of watching daddy race, Henry made his big race day debut at Fox River Grove on the Big Wheel that his Uncles Andrew and Nate gave him for his 2nd birthday. He is clearly relishing the chance to race as he pulls out in front of the peloton.

After an early lead, Henry took a turn for the worse when he ran off the course. When interviewed during the race, he described the event as a "Biiiigggg Crasssshhhh!!!"

Dispite the mishap, Henry was still able to take 2nd place, where he rocked the podium in his race day "Bikicle" t-shirt. Although his parents were extremely proud of his race day finish, the look on Henry's face clearly shows his disapointment placing second. He has resolved to be out on his bike...er...big wheel again soon, riding for a 1st place finish.

I know it's been forever since I went to Florida....but you still want to see some pictures, I know.

BH and I had a great time in FLA, we had to share!  Here you can see BH chillaxin' in our hotel room on the tempur-pedic mattress.  Baby Hunter let me know that after this experience, she can no longer sleep on anything else.  She gave me a 3 months to find her a tempur-pedic for her crib.

After a long day of shopping, BH is relaxing by the pool.  She is already taking good care of her skin, as evidenced by the sun-screen stick in the foreground.

Here we see BH has passed out after enjoying a clover-brewed coffee.  Cruelly, Starbucks has a monopoly on these machines, so that you can neither own one of your own or get one if you don't live anywhere near a Starbucks with a clover machine.  For this reason alone, BH has begun lobbying the fam for a move to Miami Beach.

Henry and Hunter were approximately the same age at the time of these photos. They are both so adorable, and clearly related!

It looks like lil' Hunter is going to have her daddy's blue eyes and Henry certainly has his mommy's brown eyes.
